The 2012 Louisiana Sheriffs’ Association (LSA) Sheriffs’ and Wardens’ Training Conference and Exhibition is near and we’re making plans to ensure that we bring you the best conference possible. Destin, Florida is the conference site and we’re inviting you to join us from August 19th through 22nd at the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa.

The Conference is planned with an eye towards practical information and training opportunities to address some of today’s most important law enforcement, executive and corrections issues.

More than seventy exhibitors with public safety, corrections and technology products and services will be on board to demonstrate their wares. So, you’ll be able to meet company representatives to learn more about what they have to offer to help you make sound buying choices.

Here are some important points for you to remember:

• Registration fees PRIOR to July 28, 2012 – Sheriff, $325; Deputy, $325; Other, $325; Retiree, $175
• Registration fees AFTER July 28, 2012 – Sheriff, $375; Deputy, $375; Other, $375; Retiree, $225
• Registration fees at the Conference – Sheriff, $400; Deputy, $400, Other, $400; Retiree, $250
• Registration fees may be paid online using a credit card or if you choose to send your check by mail, simply print your confirmation and return that form with your payment to the LSA office. That’s it!
• Conference site – Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa, 4000 Sandestin Blvd. South, Destin, Florida 32550
• Hotel Reservations – You must make your own hotel reservations. In order to receive these special rates you must make your reservations by July 28, 2012 either through our Web site www.lsa.org under “News and Events: Annual Conference” or online at Sandestinbeachhilton.com or by calling the Hilton directly at 800.559.1805. Remember to inform the hotel staff that you are with the Louisiana Sheriffs’ Association and use the three letter code LSA. To obtain special conference room rates, reservations must be made while the room block remains available. This block will fill up quickly, so please make your reservations early.
• Hotel Room Rates - $249 + 11.5% tax for basic single/double reservation. Additionally, the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa will provide one $50.00 credit to each registered room (Limit One Per Room) in the Louisiana Sheriffs’ Association official group block to be used in any on-property food and beverage outlet or recreational activity provided at the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa.
