TRAINING |
The Louisiana Sheriffs’ Association holds various training seminars throughout
the year such as: LEMIS, Records management software training; LIBRS, Louisiana
Incident Based Reporting; and LACCIE: Louisiana Civil and Criminal Information
Network.
Upcoming Training Event:
The Anti-Terrorism Advisory Council for the Middle District of Louisiana, along
with the Louisiana Sheriffs’ Association, the Louisiana State Police and the
FBI, are co-sponsoring a one day training event on
Tuesday, August 11, 2009. The event will be held in the LSP Training
Academy Auditorium at 7901 Independence Blvd., Baton
Rouge, La. Seating is limited and more information will follow.
This one day presentation will be conduced by Mr. David Harel, who is recently
retired from the Israeli Security Agency after 23 years of service in a number
of counter-terrorism and protective security posts. Mr. Harel advises private
clients on strategic solutions for security preparedness and provides
internationally recognized training on all aspects of security from emergency
preparedness to crisis response plans. |
